Privacy Policy

Summary

ProfitLens is a fully offline, personal finance tracker. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your own device.

What data the app handles

All data you enter — transactions, account names and balances, EMIs, SIPs/investments, your security PIN, security question, and app preferences — is stored only on your device using the browser/WebView local storage mechanisms (IndexedDB and localStorage). This data:

• Never leaves your device. The app has no internet permission and makes no network requests.
• Is not accessible to the developer or to any third party.
• Is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no ad networks, and no third-party trackers.

Network access

ProfitLens requests no network permissions and performs no network communication. It functions entirely without an internet connection.

Your control over your data

• PIN protection: Access to the app is protected by a PIN you set. The PIN is stored locally and is never transmitted.
• Backup & restore: You can export your data to a file you control, and restore it yourself. These files are created and read entirely on your device.
• Erase everything: The app includes an option to permanently delete all data from your device at any time.
• Uninstalling the app removes all of its locally stored data.

Children's privacy

ProfitLens is a general-purpose finance tool and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.

Permissions

ProfitLens requests no sensitive permissions and no network access. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files outside its own storage, or any other personal information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same location with a revised "Last updated" date.
